Birds of Texas website!

We actually started  learning about birds in December, 2006, when we bought our delightful Canon 20-D SLR camera  -- and have been going crazy ever since!  We named our camera "Ireland," since monetarily it replaced the trip, and now having purchased a 30-D as well, we find ourselves limited to Texas! Fortunately, it's a huge state with a great diversity of birds. We will be posting (and hopefully, improving!) photos on a continual basis.  Enjoy!! (If the square below is white, we haven't found/photographed any of those birds yet!)

(Since we live in The Woodlands, Texas, we have noted the birds that we have photographed and also seen here. The Woodlands is quite a bird Mecca itself!)
